Cumbria County Council ATF

Bespoke GB successfully completed a workshop refurbishment at the Dalston Vehicle Maintenance Unit for Cumbria County Council. This project briefly comprised of the installation of a new ATL lane and three 10m Commercial Vehicle Inspection Pits, along with all electrical, air and floor finishing services.

Following this project, we received instructions to visit their Skirsgill site. The brief was to assess if the existing building was suitable to be converted into a new Authorised Testing Facility. The depot contained two condemned 13m precast concrete Vehicle Inspection Pits, with an adjacent 4 Post Commercial Service Lift. It soon became apparent that the entire electrical distribution system, including the main incoming supply required complete renewal to ensure compliance. In addition, the proposed Brake Test external standing area along with the in situ drainage system would also require replacement.
